What if my travel agency is based outside North America or Europe?

A. Travel agencies based outside of North America or Europe are equally invited to join Hotel Hunters Travel Agency Program. Hotel Hunters has travel agent partners in more than 100 countries. Travel agencies not operating from North America or Europe can equally reap the benefits of our gerenous partnership with travel agents. Once you become partner, you can start earning just like any other travel agent from any part of the world.
Q Do I require a credit card to making a booking or do you offer credit facilities?
A. Yes you do. With the exception of long established partners who have credit facilities with us, all other travel agencies must book using either their own credit card or the credit card of the customer the agency is making the booking on his/her behalf. Travel agents with a paypal account can book and pay for bookings directly from their paypal account.
Q If my agency is in a country where credit card is not widely used can I still work with you?
A. Yes you can, however you will need to remit the full amount for your customers hotel booking to us either directly to our bank account or to our Paypal account if you have one. If you do not have a Paypal account but will like to open one for easy payment worldwide please click here.
Q Does my travel agency name show up on the voucher or the customer’s name?
A. The voucher which the customer would need to present to the hotel on arrival would bear the name of that customer just the same way their flight ticket booked through your agency will bear the name of that customer. You must ensure that you insert the customers name and address just in the same manner if the customer was purchasing an airline ticket from your agency.
Q Is your partnership for travel agents unique?
A. Travel agents approved for our partnership program may not use other hotel booking company to book hotel rooms for their customer’s hotel needs. However, occasionally we will work with travel agencies that are already working with other hotel booking companies.
Q I have 5 travel agencies; do I have to open 5 separate accounts in order to use Hotel Hunters for my customers booking requirements?
A. No you do not, however you can open separate accounts for your agencies if you choose to do so.
Q Do I receive any discounts on Hotel bookings since I’m a partner?
A. No. However, we recommend you and your member of staff to make your personal hotel bookings through your agency account login so you can earn commission on the sales and you can then reward your staff as you see fit.
Q What if I forgot my agency login password?
A. Don't worry, on the login page, simply enter your email address and click on the send password and we will send you an email containing your password to your agency’s email address in your account. If you continue to have trouble logging in, please send an email to travelagents@hotel-hunters.com and include your full agency name and address.
Q Are there any costs involved on the part of my agency?
A. Absolutely not, our travel agent partner program is completely FREE to join. There is NO setup fee or membership charges for agencies approved for our travel agents partner program.
Q How much money can I make?
A. Your earning potential depends entirely on the performance of your agency. It will depend on how serious you are about using Hotel Hunters to grow your business and as a second source of income for your agency. Hotel Hunters will provide you travel products and the marketing tools and because we have the highest payouts among other companies. It will be up to you to implement marketing strategies that include search engine performance, e-mailing newsletters and other marketing techniques to attract customers to your agency. Most importantly, if you are a travel agency that currently do not offer your customers cheap hotel booking in conjunction with their airline ticket booking from your agency them you have to instruct your staff to start making such offers to your customers making airline ticket booking through your agency. As a guide however, some of our high earning travel agents easily make and average of £2500 per month sometimes from just eight to ten of their customers per month.
Q What currency do you pay in and how do I get paid.
A. Our commission are paid in British Pound Sterling to your nominated account. If you live in a country that uses a different currency or would prefer to receive your commission in a currency other than Pound Sterling we advice that you open a Paypal account for easy payments and to avoid paying huge bank transfer fees.
Q How are high-volume producers rewarded?
A. Travel agents generating a significant volume of reservations every month can be considered for our specialized scheme, in which we pay even more than 10% commissions for every reservation made through your website. Our primary aim is to help our partners make more money!
Q How often do I get paid?
A. Currently we pay our travel agent partners on monthly basis. The is no minimum payout which is another way we are different from our competitors who usually have a minimum threshold for payouts. In order to reconcile accounts issues, payment may be delayed until accounting issues like cancellations etc have been worked out.
Q Will Hotel Hunters market to my customers?
A. No. Unlike other online travel companies, we do not compete with our partners.
Q How are bookings and commissions tracked?
A. You can instantly monitor your hotel bookings, commissions and more through our Partner Support Center, which serves as your own password-protected back office. Hotel Hunters partners can view initiate cancellations, print sales reports, number of booking, total commission earned for a particular month, the total commission earned to date, on reservations, individual bookings, client information, reservation details and much more.
Q What kind of support do you provide?
A. At Hotel Hunters, you have an entire team of experts at your service. As a travel agent partner, you are assigned your own account manager to look after your account. Our online Partner Support Center also serves as a resource for helping you run and maintain your account.

Q Can I promote specific destinations?
A. Certainly. You can program our hotel booking engine to feature hotels only in specific destinations, when you are logged in to your account and ready to make a booking which make our system an ideal source for hotels in specific geographical locations. You can also choose to promote individual hotels to your customers.
Q How are telephone reservations handled? What are the Call Center hours?
A. You customers can make direct reservations from you, or you may direct them to our Call Center. Our Call Center handles reservations round-the-clock. Callers will be asked for the particular promo code associated with your agency account, so that you are able to receive your share of the commission for such bookings. High volume selling agents may qualify for special privately branded telephone numbers that do not require the use of promo codes.
Q How are customer service enquiries handled?
A. Our customer service operates 24x7. Visit our Contact Us page to see if we have a local telephone number for your country. If your country phone number is not listed yet, you can call any of our U.S. Canada, European or Australian number for your enquiry from any part of the globe.
Q How do I become a Partner?
A Click on the Join Now! link below in order to become our travel agent partner. Simply fill out our travel agency registration form and submit it online. After receiving your application our Travel Agent Relations Manager will review your application. Should there be any questions with your application we will contact you. Once your application is approved you are now ready to login to your booking Interface and start making bookings immediately.
Q How quickly can I start to earn money?
A. You can start to earn money from the day you are approved.
